Die Idee der Funkfreunde Fehmarn ist die kosten- und drahtlose digitale Kommunikation Gleichgesinnter! Wir auf Fehmarn sind begeisterte Hobbyfunker und funkinteressierte Menschen. Kommunikation hat in unserer Region schon immer einen großen Stellenwert gehabt. In den 70er und 80er Jahren war der Funk sehr weit verbreitet und wurde dann nach und nach durch die neue digitale Technik, wie Mobiltelefone und Internet, abgelöst. Auf Funk wurde es ruhig.... Die Funkfreunde Fehmarn haben sich nun dazu entschlossen die neue Technik für sich zu entdecken um mit der Zeit zu gehen. Wir von der Fehmarnrunde funken jetzt DIGITAL. Unsere Idee ist es, ein möglichst weltweites digitales Funknetz für den Jedermannfunk aufzubauen, bevorzugt auf Freenet, LPD/SRD und PMR446 Bereich. Über dieses Funknetz - Fehmarn ist dann eine kostenlose Sprachkommunikation möglich. Wir planen verschiedene Gateways, die je nach Standort und Lage ein Stadtteil oder sogar eine ganze Stadt versorgen können. Die Standorte sollen von lokalen Nutzern mit möglichst geringem Aufwand erreichbar sein - am besten mit einem Handfunkgerät ohne externe Antenne. Dazu suchen wir möglichst hohe und kostenlose Standorte für unsere Gateways. Falls ihr so einen Standort habt und ihn mit uns teilen möchtet, oder sogar mitmachen möchtet, schreibt uns bitte eine kurze Mail.
